How SOV is calculated from the tracked keywords with no extra API cost.
Share of Voice (SOV) measures the relative share of visibility between you and the sites that appear in the Google top 10 for the keywords you track.
- Formula
- For each phrase: weight = volume × CTR(position). SOV% = sum of the domain’s weights / sum of the weights of all domains in those SERPs × 100.
- No volume
- If there is no volume, we use a weight of 1 — there is still a comparison by position.
- Mobile
- Calculated on the latest mobile check, so there is no double counting with desktop.

Does SOV draw from the wallet?
No. It uses the SERP snapshots that are already saved.
